BLOG

My girls, my beautiful crazy, strong willed, passionately stubborn, loving little ladies.

I love them, more than I can possibly express in words but yes they also increase my deep appreciation for wine!

Lydia - You my littlest lady are currently One...well 15months. You have recently started daycare two days a week so I can play professional photographer/adulting human being. You cry so loudly, so sadly when I leave you but I know whats what. You see a little birdy tells me that you stop as soon as Im gone and go about your day smiling, getting dirty, generally loving life, loving pasta, pointing demands at your new team of slaves and causing a ruckus as usual. When you see me again in the afternoon you cry at me once more and I know you have plans to repay me for leaving you. Even with the tears, I know you love it, you love getting your busy out and I know you are well looked after! At home, as promised you cling off my leg yelling at me, I pick you up - you yell at me. I put you down - you yell at me... I know that "this too shall pass" so I guess I will just wait it out. I'll get another bottle of Rosé and make the most of the small windows when you are not feral screaming Lydi but gorgeous, quiet loin fruit whom I like to snuggle.

Charli - My darling new school girl. You a now five whole years old. Where on earth has the time gone? Looking at your sister wearing the cute little clothes you wore, brings back so many memories that really dont seem that long ago! You have grown and changed so much. You are so loving, so creative, so dramatic, so helpful, so loud and such a wonderful big sister.

At school you are loving the swimming pool and getting so much more confidence. You love Japanese on Fridays, you favourite part of school is the singing and you think the bike riding is pretty cool too. You are always the last one to leave your class, usually with barefeet and carrying arts and crafts sometimes nearly as big as you are. You have just started emptying the dishwasher all by yourself which I honestly think is one of the best things ever! You love drawing, acting, crafting, imaginary play, eating and requesting treats.
You give the best cuddles, you are so wonderful with Lydi and she loves you so much.

Slow down a little with the growth thing please beautiful girl, I don't want to blink at this rate!
