I am finally in a position where I can now offer these gorgeous Fresh 48 Sessions to families around the Manawatu. Pregnancy, birth, becoming a mother and meeting your child for the first time are all things I feel so passionate about so as you can imagine I am very excited!

Pregnancy for starters is such as emotional journey, you experience just how fragile life is! You dream about this little life inside of you and what they will look like, what kind of person they will be and how they are going to change your life. It is so incredible and even though at the time, it feels like it is taking forever to grow this small person, it is over before you know it and you have moved in to the next raw, incredibly beautiful yet sometimes slightly terrifying chapter... birth. I know not everyone wants their birth captured so this is the next best thing. You let me as soon as your little love is here and I arrange to get to you within 48 hours of your birth (Don't worry it won't be straight after).

I come to the hospital or birth centre and gently capture your love and beautiful brand new baby with all of those gorgeous new baby details that fade and change so quickly. These sessions are very relaxed, and take between 1-2hours so we have to time to feed your little one, feed you, have a cuppa and just enjoy this time that quickly becomes a blur.

I can not recommend this enough as I only had photos of my first baby taken on my phone, which died before it got backed up. The quality of the photos I do have is terrible, and this something I feel so sad about! That time is such a haze in my mind as their was so much going on, photos weren't really my priority when I was trying to figure out how to breast feed AND keep my nipples attached, function on no sleep and keep this new tiny human alive. It was such an emotional time for me as I struggled with breast feeding for a few really hard weeks and I did a lot of crying. I wish I had photos to look back on now that I'm not in pain and drowing in hormones to see the beautiful side of my introduction to motherhood and those first days with my little darling. This is a huge part of why I'm offering this to you!  

These memories only get more special as your baby grows and time goes on, my daughter is already 5 in the blink of an eye! The photographs I will take for you will be cherished by you, your family, and your children for the rest of their lives. Your baby will know that from day dot, they were unconditionally loved and they will get to experience your journey through these images. Our children will always have these beautiful memories even when they no longer have us. How special is that? How priceless?

I feel teary eyed thinking about just how special these sessions are and I am so excited I can do this for so many families this year.
